Bradley Family in FLORIDA!!

As most of you know I had the pleasure of visiting FLORID with Heart Radio! I have finally got back in to blogging and thought i would give you all a recap on the most amazing trip I have ever been on!!!

We flew from Gatwick airport, as London is quite a long way from where we live we stayed at the amazing Gatwick airport Premier Inn within Gatwick manor which was absolutely lovely, after a lovely breakfast we headed off to the airport ready for the 9 hour British airways flight to Tampa Bay!

We stayed in the gorgeous Marriott Clear water beach hotel which had the most amazing view of clear water beach! We could literally see dolphins from our room, it was gorgeous!

Clearwater is around 40 minutes away from Tampa and around 1.5 hours away from Orlando but there is plenty to do around Clearwater however I would suggest renting a car!

Here is the low down on what we got up to on our trip!

Day 1 - Landed in Clearwater - quick bite to eat and straight to bed SHATTERED!!
Day 2 - Trip to the Aqua adventure water park in Tampa, we got the meal deal which meant we could get food and drinks each hour without having to worry about bringing money in with us! The water park was huge, lots to do for all ages! My kids loved the wave pool!
Day 3 - Day on clear water beach! So much fun collecting shells and splashing in the sea!!

Day 4 - Trip to Busch Gardens - we got a fast pass ticket which was well worth the money! Lots of rides to go on, plenty of shows and restaurants! The kids loved it! This is the second time we have visited Busch Gardens and there is always something new!

Day 5 - Visit to Tampa Zoo, unfortunately it rained ALL day, most of the attractions are outside so it was a bit of a disappointment , however the zoo itself is huge, it features lots of animals, restaurants and rides.
Day 6 and 7 - Disney!! We met up with my niece at Disney and had the most amazing fast track tour, went on most of the rides! Love Disney its our 2nd visit and always have the most amazing time!

Always sad to go home! still got major holiday blues, once you have been to Florida nowhere compares!

Check out my v blog videos here for Disney

and here for Tampa

Trip to Smithills Farm

I Love being off in the Easter holidays, being able to spend valuable time with the kids. Haaris is at 'that age' now where he doesn't want to spend as much family time with us, he either wants to be out with his friends or playing on his X box so when I had made plans to take a trip to Smithills open farm in Bolton I knew it would just be me and Zahra, perfect girly day!

We get up extra early as I knew the farm would be busy with it being holiday season, the farm is only a 30 minute trip from our house and there is ample parking on site!

When we reached the farm it was extra busy, it cost us around £18 for entry, that was for both of us and included an Easter egg hunt, a donkey ride and some feed for the animals, we had packed our own picnic therefore we didn't have to worry about extra expense for lunch or snacks.

Zahra was super excited to visit Pets corner, and was given the opportunity to feed one of the baby Lambs! haha we ended up getting attacked by 3 of them!

We also got to hold baby chicks, hamsters and rabbits, oh and stroke a huge owl!

The farm is huge, so much to see and do, there is a Lovely park on site and during Easter the have an inflatable bouncy castle and slide, as it was the Easter holidays this was really busy!

We found a nice quiet spot to have our picnic lunch.

Not only is the farm fun but it's also educational, we learnt names of baby animals and how cow's are milked. Zahra was fascinated!

The Easter egg hunt was fantastic, it took place in the woodland area and families had to find eggs and special Easter treats hidden in the woodland area! So much fun we got a small hatching chick and 3 chocolate treats!

Before leaving the farm we stopped off for delicious ice cream!

we had so much fun we will definitely be back!

Our Favorite Vacation in the Black forrest Germany

I knew very little about the Black Forrest area, a couple of friends had told me how beautiful it was but I didn't know many people that went to the area for a vacation so had to see for myself, so when Fly Baden invited me to spend a weekend with travel bloggers I jumped at the chance! With an action packed itinerary to cram in, lots to see and do!!

We flew from London Heathrow direct to Baden, We started our trip in the Baden Baden area, It was such a quaint little town with cobbled streets and lots of history, we went to explore the town and take in the wonderful sites, lots of restaurants, the weather was quite warm so we were able to eat outside, the people in Baden Baden are very welcoming and pleasant to talk to. We stayed in the Hotel Merkur in the heart of Baden, a gorgeous hotel!

The next morning we were up early to drive from Baden Baden via the Black Forrest Mountain road to Mehliskopf near Forbach with is a ski slope in winter but converted in to a summer fun wonderland in the summer months.

The views of the Black Forrest on the drive were absolutely breathtaking! An endless view of trees and thatched houses, so much to take in, it was absolutely beautiful, we made the most of the scenery by taking regular photo stops to capture happy memories!!

The Mehliskopf site  features a roller coaster self controlled ride which me and my son went on, it went a lot faster than expected, think my screams could be heart throughout Germany!!!! My son enjoyed  a high tree top activity course with his dad, full of zip wires there were also Mountain karts to rent, restaurants, trampolines, scenic walks  and much more! Me, my partner and our 2 children had an amazing time, spent the morning having lots of fun, we would love to go back in winter to experience the ski slope, can imagine it being amazing fun!

In the afternoon we drove to Karlsruhe to take a visit to the zoo, Karlsruhe is very much a modern town compared to Baden, we travelled using the bus system which was easy and inexpensive to use,  unfortunately it was raining so we had to cut our visit short but returned to a lovely hotel in Karlsruhe town to spend the night!

We had an early depart the next morning to drive over to Europa park, Germany's largest theme park and boy was it big! It is comparable to disneyworld with all the characters but is split in different lands, my kids had a brilliant time on all the rides, so much to see, do and eat!

We stayed in the Bell Roch hotel which is right on the theme park site, it was a fabulous hotel with a real titanic boat feel, even the beds are boats which my kids loved, We even ventured in to the out in to the outdoor pool which was lovely! !!!

I will definitely be back to Baden Baden, perfect hidden gem for a family holiday!

Taster Session At School

Feeling a little sad today as it was my daughters first taster session at school, she has been really looking forward to starting school so that she can be like her big brother Haaris but I was dreading it as my baby girl is growing up so fast!! Cant believe the time to scart school is nearly here.
We have already got all of her uniform just a few bits and bats left to get but it can be a very emotional time for parents but you cant let your child see that you are upset as you dont want them to get upset, so this morning I waved her off with a big smile then quickly retreated to my car for a sob!

She came home so excited, tellig me all about her day and the friends she had met, she had made me a little picture, I am so proud of her and how confident she is.

Here she is this morning trying her big brothers 'school coat and boots on' hahaha

Our Family trip to Marrakech

Thought I would share a little blog post about our recent family trip to Marrakech!
Travelling with a 4 year old and a 10 year old I am always a little worried if there will be activities available to please both age groups.

We had booked to stay all inclusive at the Aqua Mirage club marrakech, this is a fantastic family resort featuring an on site water park, the water park has a separate toddler water park so it was just perfect

The resort had 4 pools - one toddler pool, one wave pool and 2 pools in the main part of the report. My children particularly enjoyed the wave pool.

The resort had a pool side restaurant that served lunch and snacks (toasted paninis for snacks) there was also the main restaurant that served breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant had a different theme every night and offered a selection to please all, there was a whole room for the deserts, and ice cream YUMMY Each guest was also entitled to a free meal at a Moroccan theme restaurant and an Indian restaurant.

The hotel had entertainment on each night with a wide range of acts to please all, we especially enjoyed the Michael Jackson tribute, it was amazing!!

The hotel offers a free shuttle to the markets but only at 2 fixed times, you can pay a little extra to catch the shuttle at other times.

Our hotel room was nice but could do with a little updating but we didn't spend much time in as were too busy at the water parks so it didn't really matter!

There is a small shop that sells souvenirs and snacks but they are quite expensive.

I went used the spa service within the resort and booked in for a Turkish Bath, it was lovely but again quite expensive!!

We went on a camel excursion which was probably the highlight of our trip, the views were absolutely AMAZING!

We had a fabulous time at the Aqua Mirage club in Marrakech! :)

Tech 21 Phone Case Review

I have to say that I am one of those people that is constantly dropping their phone! I have had enough cracked screens to last a life time, with having an iPhone its expensive to get screen replaced and an expense that I could do without!

I was absolutely delighted when Tech 21 offered to send me one of their phone cases for my iPhone, I tend to change my case every few months as they start to look tatty but the tech 21 case offers a lifetime warranty so I was really excited to try it out and see if my iPhone was in safe hands (or a safe case lol)

The case I was sent was pink with a mesh style back, it was easy to fit on my phone and I loved the colour, it is ultra thin and lightweight  :)

The case offers FLEXSHOCK advanced impact protection up to 2m (6.6ft) , it is available in a range of colours - link to web page here - https://www.tech21.com/en_gb The case that I have retails at £24.95 which may be a little more pricey than a standard phone case but you are getting the added benefit of phone protection which is a huge bonus and will save you money in the long run as you wont have to shell out if you drop your phone.

The case is 30% thinner and 60% lighter than other phone cases offering similar protection which is fabulous as nobody wants a big bulky case! I found that the case fitted perfectly on my volume buttons and fitted perfectly around the camera opening.

I would definitely recommend TECH 21 to anyone wanting a cool phone case to protect your phone or  ipad.
